Sound familiar?

Pain that keeps coming back deserves more than a repeat prescription.

Maybe you've tried rest, a generic sheet of exercises, or a program that helped for a while and then didn't. You're not looking for another quick fix — you're looking for someone to figure out what's actually going on and build a plan around it.

Pain that improves, then returns once you're back to work, training, or daily routines.

Discomfort that limits how you move at work, during a workout, or through everyday tasks.

A folder of exercise handouts that never quite addressed what was actually causing the problem.

A desire for a clear plan and a real timeline — not just temporary relief between visits.

How we work

Care built around you, not a schedule to keep

01

1-on-1 Treatment

Always with Dr. Vella, in order to have consistency in your care. Your plan is built around your specific symptoms, goals, and day-to-day life — not a standard protocol applied to everyone with a similar diagnosis.

02

Whole-Body Evaluation

We look beyond the painful area to understand what's contributing to it, so treatment addresses the source, not just where it hurts.

03

Hands-On, Personalized Care

Sessions combine manual treatment, guided movement, education, and progressive exercise — with your therapist present and engaged throughout.

04

Individualized Plan to Help You Reach Your Specific Goals

You'll leave each visit with practical strategies that support your progress between sessions and after you've been discharged.

Your Therapist

Dr. Joseph Vella PT, DPT, CFMT, TPI

As a lifelong athlete — hockey and skiing have taught me plenty about managing my own injuries — I've learned firsthand that sustaining an active lifestyle comes down to one thing: how efficiently your body moves.

That belief shapes how I work with my patients. I take a hands-on approach to identify and treat the root cause of a problem, not just its symptoms, with the goal of improving your body's overall efficiency — whether that means treating an injury, preventing one, or improving performance.

I've spent the past seven years working one-on-one with patients — time that's taught me to slow down and evaluate the body as a whole, looking closely at how different areas and systems connect. Whether I'm working with an office worker recovering from chronic pain or a professional athlete chasing peak performance, my approach stays the same: understand the root cause and build a plan around your goals.
